First Visit

  • After scheduling, create a new account in my Patient Portal. Then click on "Forms". Complete the following three before you arrive:
           (1)  Contact Information
           (2)  New Patient Intake Form
           (3)  Consent For Treatment
  • Wear loose and comfortable clothing, including shorts or pants that can be comfortably rolled above your knees.
  • I look forward to meeting and working with you. Don't hesitate to call or email with questions.

Insurance

Many of my patients get reimbursed by their health insurance company for out-of-network acupuncture. If your health insurance covers out-of-network acupuncture, I can provide you with a special receipt to mail to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement (depending on the specifics of your health insurance plan).

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

Acupuncture is an IRS qualified health care expense for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).  If you plan to use your HSA to pay for your treatments, let me know at the time of treatment so I can facilitate it.

Stairs

There is one flight of stairs leading into The Point. If you are unable to easily climb stairs please let me know and I will recommend a clinic with no stairs.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly do so at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.  Patients who miss their appointment or cancel less than 24 hours ahead of their scheduled appointment are responsible for the full cost of the treatment.
